  2. Shoulder: Measure this length from one shoulder to another.
  3. Front Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the desired hemline. 
  4. Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder to the wrist.

Size Chart

The M-65 Jacket (also known as the M-1965 Field Jacket) gets its name from the year it was introduced. It was initially designed for the U.S. military under the MIL-C-43455J standard to replace the M-1951 field jacket.

The M-65 was widely used by U.S. Forces during the Vietnam War, where it proved invaluable to troops serving in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam, keeping soldiers warm in the cool weather following monsoon rains. Subsequently, it became standard issue for American troops in various other conflicts worldwide.

Originally introduced in olive green, the jacket has also made notable appearances in several films:

  • 'Taxi Driver' (Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle);
  • 'Bloodsport' (Jean-Claude Van Damme as Frank Dux);
  • 'Rocky Balboa' (Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa);
  • 'The Terminator' (Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator) - with some modifications;
  • 'GoldenEye' (Pierce Brosnan as James Bond)
